I'm currently working as an Staff Software Engineer at Acquired, working primarily on our card processing platform.

I've been fortunate enough to have had exposure to many programming languages, such as C#, JavaScript / TypeScript, PHP, Java, Swift and Golang. For many years I focused on developing applications with .NET, React & Laravel.

Having initially started my career by founding a successful server hosting company, I am proficient in Linux server administration. Over the past 5 years I have taken a keen interest in cloud technologies, specifically within the Amazon Web Services eco-system. I am a certified AWS solutions architect. I gave a talk to Norfolk Developers in November 2019 about "Repeatable cloud infrastructure with Terraform".

One of my current projects is the WebSequenceDiagrams Connector for Confluence Cloud, published through my company Quintessential Code Ltd. This Atlassian Marketplace app allows teams to embed sequence diagrams directly into Confluence pages, supporting all WebSequenceDiagrams.com styles and syntax.
